The Killeen Daily Herald, a 2011 APME Newspaper of the Year, is seeking a versatile, aggressive journalist for the Herald’s group of weekly publications. The successful candidate will be able to plan news coverage on a variety of community subjects, write clear, concise stories and also contribute to the daily newspaper coverage. We need someone who is community –minded and understands community journalism. Candidates must have the ability to work with digital tools for a growing web presence. Job requirements include a bachelor’s degree in journalism and three years of daily or weekly experience.
