Company: San Diego CityBeat
Position:
Investigative Reporter needed
Location:
California
Job Status:  Full-time
Ad Expires:
March 6, 2013
Job ID: 1467375

Description:

San Diego CityBeat, an alternative weekly, has an opening for an accomplished investigative reporter. CityBeat has established itself as a must-read news source in San Diego, due in large part to its investigative reporting and provocative storytelling. The right candidate will help us continue that tradition, as well as regularly break news and provide a constant supply of compelling news-feature ideas. The ideal person also has a mind for irreverent ideas that will keep loyal readers on their toes and compel new readers to take notice. This position, open the second week in February, serves as CityBeat's primary news writer and occasionally fills in on the Art & Culture page, so a broad range of journalistic interests is necessary.

Send a résumé and cover letter to editor David Rolland at davidr@sdcitybeat.com. No phone calls, please.
