Description:

Ocala Style Magazine, a popular Central Florida city magazine, is seeking an enthusiastic, entry-level editorial assistant to join its award-winning team. The ideal candidate will have some experience in journalism writing and basic copy editing and either a bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field or equivalent work experience, as well as possess exceptional attention to detail, a critical eye for style, a creative mind for compelling story ideas and a commitment to journalism excellence. The candidate will be expected to both write and copy edit content and assist with social media marketing. Local candidates are preferred. This is an excellent opportunity (with room to grow) for a qualified, enthusiastic individual to join a close-knit, committed team that produces a popular magazine each month.
