Description:

The Reading Eagle – a 50k/daily, 70k/Sunday newspaper in southeast Pennsylvania – has an immediate opening for an entry-level page designer. We are a family-owned local company, and unlike many of our peers, our newspaper is growing and aggressively pursuing an expanded circulation market. Our newsroom just won the top award in the Keystone Press contest for papers in our circulation division, and we are excited about our future. Our award-winning design staff works in collaboration with talented editors across the newsroom, and our paper is printed on a state-of-the-art full-color press. The ideal candidate is a recent college j-school graduate with campus newspaper/magazine experience or a professional with a few years in the industry looking for new opportunities. Please forward a resume and work samples to Grant Mahon, design editor, at gmahon@readingeagle.comor PO Box 582, Reading, PA 19603.
