The Daily News in Bowling Green, Ky., has an immediate opening for a full-time copy editor/page designer. The person we seek has a passion for editing and a proficiency in software such as InDesign. Skills in PhotoShop are a plus.

This position works with other members of our copy desk to perform daily layout and editing of locally produced copy and wire stories. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, with night shifts Friday and Saturday nights. Previous experience at a daily newspaper is preferred.

 

The Daily News, with a circulation of about 23,000, is an award-winning, family-owned newspaper covering Bowling Green – a city of about 60,000 and home to Western Kentucky University – and its surrounding area. BG is a culturally diverse, growing city about an hour north of Nashville.
