The reporter is responsible for covering theater news, feature stories, previews and reviews for online and print. Duties include writing a blog, using Twitter and other social media, and covering general assignment in Charlotte's flourishing and innovative arts community.

 

About Charlotte: Blumenthal Performing Arts (blumenthalarts.org) stages the Broadway Lights touring season and manages six theaters. Groups include Children's Theatre of Charlotte, Actors Theatre of Charlotte, Opera Carolina and Carolinas Actors Studio Theater. 

 

At least 3 years newspaper experience and knowlege of  theater required.
