Here’s what you do in the job:

1. Position Three Ships Media as a thought leader on localized marketing
• Manage the Three Ships Media blog and social media presence, producing the majority of content and coordinating guest posts
• Write whip smart, super-engaging emails to keep customers, prospects, the media and job candidates posted on the latest and greatest at Three Ships Media
• Conduct primary and secondary research to create compelling whitepapers, eBooks, and webinars
• Do all of the above with a multimedia approach

2. Project Manage Content Marketing Initiative
•Coordinate efforts of subject matter experts within Three Ships Media to contribute to content market initiative
•Manage company editorial calendar

3. Manage public and media relations
• Research relevant media opportunities and pitch Three Ships Media
• Build relationships with key local, national and industry media
• Secure invitations for speaker positions at relevant industry conferences
• Secure appropriate resources in the organization (data, subject matter experts) to develop pitches

Here’s what it takes to do the job:

• 4-8 years marketing experience at a small to mid-size professional services organization
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage projects from inception through execution
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to flourish in a dynamic, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment
• Entrepreneurial, self-starter with hands-on approach
