Description:

Immediate opportunity for a full-time reporter/blogger to write about entrepreneurs, startups and new business focused on New York City and surrounding areas.
 
Must be well-versed in digital writing techniques and have lively, authoritative voice. Should thrive as interviewer, be able to generate good story leads and be able to write fast, short blog posts built off the news as well as develop enterprise stories. Ability to envision multimedia elements, primarily slideshows and lists, is a must. The staff position with American City Business Journals would serve both the Upstart Business Journal and the New York Business Journal (http://www.bizjournals.com/newyork).
