Description: The Houston Business Journal, serving one of the largest and most dynamic cities in the country, seeks a sharp, energetic professional to drive audience growth and engagement from inside the newsroom. This individual will be as skilled at editing copy as he or she is at networking with top-level decision makers. This new position, the Audience Engagement Editor, is charged with monitoring, engaging and growing HBJ's business audience across all platforms — online, social, mobile, print, events and more. A strong candidate will have proven experience in the newsroom, managing social media, understanding and using SEO and connecting personally with audience. The Audience Engagement Editor will work collaboratively with all HBJ departments to grow the publication's following across all platforms.
