The Hermiston Herald is seeking a sports reporter for our twice-weekly community newspaper in Northeast Oregon. Job duties will include coverage of high school and community sports and outdoor activities. We are looking for a creative, energetic writer to produce compelling sports stories and features. Must be able to write game stories quickly on deadline and also post to the web. We want someone with strong writing skills who avoids sports cliches.  Full-time position offering health insurance, paid time off and retirement benefits.
