Ecumenical News ( - a comprehensive online news resource reporting on global ecumenical developments, churches, ministries and general news developments from a Christian perspective - is hiring reporters to contribute to its expanding team in New York City. We are scheduling interviews for candidates that meet our criteria.

Successful candidates will be web-savvy and be comfortable covering general news and areas of interest for at least one of the following areas: Church, Belief/Interfaith, Humanitarian, Politics, Tech, Lifestyle and Culture. We are looking for a reporter who can be a self-starter and write articles from various online sources on deadline.


- Bachelors degree in journalism or related field

- Experience working in a digital, online newsroom

- Drive ideas for exclusives, analysis and feature stories

- Work effectively and efficiently with reporters and editors online

- Knowledge of Ecumenism and Christianity news coverage a plus

- Be able to work at the publication's Manhattan location
