The successful candidate will have a lively interest in corporate governance and be able to write both breaking news stories and in-depth analyses. You should be curious about what makes companies tick and be able to filter broader news stories through the boardroom lens. Corporate directors and executives are busy people, so a talent for writing crisp, compelling copy is essential.

Besides filing stories, Agenda reporters conduct video interviews, host webinars and travel to governance conferences once or twice a year. A background in business or financial journalism is a plus, but even more important is a proven ability to develop sources and do a deep dive into your beat.
