The Telegraph has an immediate opening for an energetic reporter/multimedia journalist to cover business. The ideal candidate will be able to produce comprehensive business stories for page 1 or the business section front several times a week. We need someone who will place a heavy emphasis on the Nashua area’s effort to grow its economy, as well as other business issues. The business reporter also will keep an eye out for what’s happening in state government from tracking business-related legislation to monitoring state agencies.   

The Telegraph is a digital-first news source. Reporters are expected to  produce content throughout the day, filing updates to The Telegraph’s website and social media accounts. The job requirements include the ability to collect and analyze information about newsworthy events; to write news stories for publication across all The Telegraph’s platforms; to initiate stories on and off the beat; and to work on special projects and newsroom initiatives in conjunction with editors.

In addition, reporters must demonstrate a proficiency in the use of all types of social media, as well as the ability to take photographs and shoot and edit video.
