The Times in Gainesville, Ga., has an immediate opening for a talented page designer who thrives in a creative environment and can design exciting news pages for the daily newspaper, as well as pages for our weekly and niche publications.

This position is an ideal opportunity for an eager page designer who excels in newspaper and magazine design. The successful applicant should be able to work with limited supervision while also working as a dedicated team member in a progressive newsroom. Knowledge of AP style is a must. Experience with copy editing and page design software is required. Knowledge of Adobe In-Design, PhotoShop and Illustrator is suggested.

Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field is required. Prior experience is a plus.

Schedule could include night and weekend work. We offer paid vacation, benefits and 401K profit sharing. We are located in fast-growing Hall County one hour north of Atlanta on beautiful Lake Lanier. Salary is based on experience.
