The West Bend Daily News is seeking a managing editor who can be a leader in both the newsroom and in the community. If you’ve got a passion for producing community journalism at its finest, we want to talk with you. The requirements for this position are simple. We want someone with strong news judgment and an ability to work with reporters of various degrees of experience.

 

We want someone who can turn a dull press release into a journalistic gem; someone who is well versed in AP style; someone comfortable with both investigative reporting and the chicken dinner church news. We seek somebody well versed in social media and digital presentation. We are looking for somebody who can capture the essence of this community.
