The Portland Press Herald/Maine Sunday Telegram has an immediate opening  for an assistant editorial page editor. The successful candidate should  have at least three years of experience in daily journalism, excellent  writing and editing skills, proven news judgment and an engaging style.

Production experience is a plus.

 

The Press Herald/Telegram is the largest circulation daily in Maine and with its sister papers in Augusta and Waterville and associated websites has the state's largest professional news staff. We are a news organization that aspires to do important work. Our opinion pages are a  statewide forum with contributions by key policy makers and thought  leaders. Our editorials are a jumping-off places for public discussion  of important issues.
