Description: The Moscow Pullman Daily News has openings for night copy and page layout editors and a possible opening for a reporter. The Daily News is a six-day-a-week, 5,000 circulation morning newspaper covering Latah County, Idaho County, and Whitman County,Wash., homes to the University of Idaho and Washington State University, as well as a lot of wheat farmers. We have an award-winning news staff of about 13. We write our own editorials, a weekly events magazine, several quarterly special sections and maintain dnews.com, inland360.com and a Facebook page for each. * Night copy editor and page layout editor: For the first several weeks of the job, you will be working with an experienced night editor to get the news of the day into the paper and online. After that, you will work some days and be assigned some writing and additional editing duties. Applicants must be adept with inDesign. This is considered an entry-level position. Annual salary is $23,650 to start, with vacations, holidays, medical, profit-sharing and other benefits.
