Answer the following question: Is ice hot or cold?:
Company: Kingman Daily Miner
Position:
Seeking Newspaper Reporter
Location:
Arizona
Job Status:  Full-time
Ad Expires:
April 12, 2013
Job ID: 1459903

Description:

The Kingman Daily Miner is looking for a city government/general assignment reporter who understands budgets, politics, business, and people.  The right candidate may be right out of school seeking to move up to a daily or a veteran seeking a warmer climate.  Bottom line:  We are looking for someone who can tell stories accurately and with some flair, and if you can do that, we are more interested in your desire and writing chops and less concerned about where you went to college and what you studied.  Extra credit:  Photography skills, an online attitude, and experience with social media, or at least a willingness to learn and experiment.

Kingman is located in northwest Arizona, about two hours from the Las Vegas strip and three hours from Phoenix.  We are at a higher elevation so the summers are not as hot as you imagine, but we are close enough to the hot spots that snow is rare in the winter.

Send resume with work samples to Kingman Daily Miner, Attn:  Human Resources, 3015 Stockton Hill Road, Kingman, AZ  86401; Email: nthorpe@kdminer.com; Fax: (928) 753-8350.  NSE EEOE
