POSITION DESCRIPTION: A Personal Journal editor must have a good knowledge of most lifestyle topics, including health, personal technology, cars, fashion, food, home design, parenting. This is a demanding job that involves both advance planning of stories as well as editing on tight deadlines. The editor works closely with reporters to conceptualize and execute stories. Editors work closely with design and photo staffs to create surprising story packages, both in print and online.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Must be team-oriented. Should have several years experience in similar position at a news organization or magazine.
