Advertising Director

Community daily newspaper is seeking an experienced advertising professional to lead our advertising department. Candidates must have related managerial experience and a strong record of sales growth and goal obtainment. Previous experience with budgeting is a must for this position. Also, experience structuring compensation plans and accounts will be considered a plus. The successful candidate will be expected to integrate themselves into the community while maintaining and building existing and new customer relationships.Responsibilities include developing, training and motivating the sales team and overseeing all functions of retail, classified and digital sales. Strong positive leadership and motivation for the sales team is necessary and is the culture among the other leadership of this daily operation. Full benefit package.
