Description:

MTA-Long Island Rail Road is currently recruiting for an Editorial Officer. You would be responsible for supporting the Customer Correspondence Unit through letter writing, responding to customer e-mails, social media and comment cards. You would also be responsible for supporting editorial projects, including employee communications, press releases, writing, proofreading, editing and research.

The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communication, or related field, or demonstrated equivalent experience; at least three years of editorial or related experience and strong writing, editing, interpersonal and communication skills.
