Community Newspaper Editor

The News-Gazette Community Newspaper division of the News-Gazette, Inc. is
seeking a talented editor for one of our newest publications, the LeRoy
Farmer City Press. The newspaper serves the communities of LeRoy, Farmer
City, Mansfield, Bellflower and Downs and three school districts – LeRoy,
Blue Ridge and Tri-Valley.

Applicants must have journalism experience, be able to paginate in
InDesign, have a good eye for photography and design, working knowledge of
Photoshop, capable of writing hard news, features and sports as well as
editorial content, social news and coverage of other local events and
activities, including photography. Community involvement is encouraged.

This is a full-time position with excellent benefits. This is not a
40-hour-a-week position, but a team of correspondents assist you in
meeting, event and sports coverage.
