Description: POLICE, COURTS REPORTER — The Jonesboro Sun, a daily newspaper in Jonesboro, AR, invites applications for a full-time police/courts reporter. Minimum requirements include a bachelor’s degree. Candidates should have experience in journalism, photo skills, and three years of reporting experience, preferably at a daily newspaper, including substantial coverage of a police-courts beat. We're looking for a hard charger able to ferret out news from what appear to be everyday events and who loves the cops and courts beat. If you think covering fires and murder is an unpleasant chore, don't call us. But if those topics make your heart race, we'd love to see your resume.
