Description:

The Registry covers real estate for the San Francisco Bay Area. We gather information, break news and provide analysis. We seek freelancers who:

* Have a minimum five years of reporting experience at a daily newspaper or other formal media environment, preferably writing hard news.

* Have a college degree (preferred)

* Know journalism/AP basic writing style and rules

Very desirable: Business reporting experience, real estate reporting experience, intimate knowledge of the Bay Area. If you lack any of those, sell us on why we should use you anyhow.

We will have assignments available in early January, so early responders will have a big advantage.
