Daily newspaper in Rolla, Mo., is looking for a self-motivated editor to manage a small newsroom. Located in a small college community in central Missouri, Rolla is conveniently located within easy driving distance of St. Louis and Springfield. The area offers outstanding outdoor/recreational opportunities, fine schools, and community activities.  The Rolla Daily News is a growing community newspaper publishing Monday through Saturday. The editor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the newspaper, in a hands-on environment working with reporters. Editor will be required to take part in the production of news, work with the sales/ad department and develop relationships within the community. Looking for someone with a background in print and digital publishing with an emphasis on multimedia. Bachelor degree in journalsim or related field required. Experience preferred.
