The Real Deal is a 60,000-circulation real estate news magazine that provides an inside look at the big players and major deals in the New York City market. We are looking for help on a project compiling statistics on the state of the real estate market for our annual Data Book. The editorial position will begin immediately and last through the end of January. The position will require between 5-8 hours of work a day, though the schedule is flexible. The job involves contacting various sources in order to get real estate market reports and other data, correctly formatting it for publication, and working with our art department along with editors to see it is properly laid out on the page. Competitive salary. Research experience preferred, though candidates with backgrounds as editors, reporters and web producers will also be considered. Please send resume and cover letter to editor Stuart W. Elliott at jobs@therealdeal.com.
