World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the world’s leading conservation organization, seeks a Digital Content Specialist to manage content production and strategy across various WWF communications channels.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

1.Manages content for by editing new and existing content and using the Content Management System to implement additions and changes.
2.Coordinates editorial calendars across division.
3.Develops and implements content and website strategies with Web Content Editor.
4.Establishes priorities for web content publication and manages workflow with Program Communications and Web teams.
5.Plans content for promotion in the monthly e-newsletter and advises Online Marketing team on new content available for promotion across social media channels.
6.Manages production of the digital versions of WWF publications with internal stakeholders and external agency.
7.Helps manage translation of flagship print products to website and digital platforms.
8.Supports content development for emerging digital channels, including mobile applications.
9.Performs other duties as assigned.

Working Relationships
1. Internal: Interacts daily with the Online Marketing, Web and Program Communications and Media teams. Collaborates with other teams in the Marketing and Communications Division and Program staff as needed.
2. External: Frequent contact with digital agencies that manage projects for and digital publications.

Minimum Requirements

1. Education/Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, English or related field is required. Two years experience managing web content from conception through publication is required. At least one year of experience as a communications professional working with social media is also required. A cover letter must be submitted along with a resume to be considered for this position.

2. Skills and Abilities

•Experience working in content management systems and emerging digital platforms
•Excellent written and oral communication skills
•Working familiarity with HTML preferred; Photoshop competency is a plus.
•Experience collaborating with team members of varying disciplines, including online marketing and web production team
•Superior organizational skills
•Ability to lead and work within a team structure
