Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

•  Design, review and maintain typography, layout, color, copy, and images

for editorial layouts of magazines using desktop publishing software on the Macintosh

•           Color correcting digital files.

•           Preparing and preflighting final digital files for printing of all publications and posting final files to printer’s FTP site.

•           Design, review and maintain typography, layout, color, copy, and images for

company support materials.

• Other duties may include web banners and tiles for the web.

Requirements:

•  You should be detail-oriented

•           Must have a portfolio that exhibits various styles and an excellent understanding of typography

•           Thorough knowledge and understanding of print processes.

•           Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite CS5 Photoshop a must for color correcting and manipulate images.

•           Strong knowledge of Quark 9

•           Working knowledge of InDesign CS5 and Illustrator

•           Able to multi-task in a fast paced work environment and meet deadlines

•           May be required to work non-traditional hours to accommodate workload and delivery of deadline-driven publications

•           Must have at least 8+ years of experience in graphic design
