Homeland Security Reporter

DESCRIPTION

Come join the team of this award-winning monthly trade publication. The position entails writing original features and a monthly department on homeland security issues and security industry trends. Other duties include writing for the Web site and developing video stories and other multimedia elements for our three-times-a-year digital edition. The ideal candidate is passionate about doing a good job and will excel at enterprise reporting, making complex issues easy to understand, and telling a story in many different media.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) preferably in Journalism, English, Communications or a related field; one to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Journalism experience and video skills required. A commitment to producing high-quality editorial is a must. Excellent writing skills are essential. Knowledge of the security industry is a plus, but not required.
