Copy Editor

The Leader-Telegram, a morning award-winning daily newspaper in West Central Wisconsin, is seeking a full-time copy editor.  This position is part of a three-person copy desk responsible for ensuring that the Leader-Telegram is published on time and that the stories are accurate and easy to read. Attention to detail and ability to work quickly under deadline pressure essential. A bachelor’s degree with a background in journalism or related field is required. Must be adept at page design, headline writing and AP style. Knowledge of InDesign a plus. Core hours are 2:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. with rotating weekend responsibilities.
