Employee Benefit Adviser, a SourceMedia publication, is looking for an Associate Editor who can learn fast, write crisp, clean copy and shift gears rapidly between digital, print and social media. Position duties include editing daily e-newsletter, researching and writing stories for EBA magazine and executing social media strategy. Knowledge of health reform, retirement, supplemental benefits a plus. Small but vibrant team-oriented office in In Arlington, VA, two blocks from Ballston Metro.

Key skills required include reporting and writing ability, ability to create and manage industry contacts, display of continuous improvement in industry knowledge and translation of that knowledge to story proposals. The ideal candidate will also have familiarity with e-newsletter production and administration and general knowledge of Web journalism.
