The Beatrice Daily Sun has an opening for a Copy Editor to join our team.

We're looking for someone who has excellent news judgment and an eye for detail.

The ideal candidate thinks headlines are just as important as design and that the web is the first place you present the news. We are looking for someone who will be committed to making sure we're first and best when it comes to print and online. Excellent time management and organizational skills are required.

Must enjoy enhancing and improving the work of others through editing and presentation. Ideal candidates will also be eager to roll up their sleeves and produce video or news stories as needed. Qualified candidates must know AP style and have great attention to detail. Eagerness to learn new technologies and forward-thinking ideas about design are a must.
