Starnes Publishing is looking for an editor for its growing Birmingham-based community papers and websites.
 
Applicants must have experience in both writing and editing news and features. We are looking for a driven professional with strong hyperlocal news judgement and a manager who can organize all aspects of editorial production. Candidates must be familiar with online content management systems, social media, copyediting, AP style and basic photography. Adobe software knowledge is a plus.
 
Networking ability, resourcefulness, and and the ability to plan months ahead ahead are also necessary.
