The Enterprise-Journal, a 9,000-circulation, six-day afternoon daily in McComb, Miss., is looking for an energetic reporter who believes in community journalism. The job comes with a wide range of assignments including local government beats, obits, cops, spot news and features. Strong writing skills, knowledge of AP style, an ability to meet tight deadlines and — most importantly — a curious streak are required. Ideal candidates include recent college graduates and budding journalists looking to make the next move in their careers.
