Main Justice, covering the U.S. Department of Justice, is looking for a senior reporter. A minimum of three years experience in journalism is preferred. Very strong preference given to applicants with experience covering Congress or Washington agencies, especially the DOJ, SEC, FTC or a legal or business beat of some kind. You must be able to develop sources, break news, quickly grasp complex material, and be intellectually curious about government, law, business and politics. Ability to write quickly and cleanly on deadline is a must. Our publication is a launching pad for top business and law reporters at major publications. Our internationally focused subscription publication, Just Anti-Corruption, covers the intrigue-filled world of foreign anti-bribery enforcement (specifically, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act) involving large corporations all over the world. Our free publication, Main Justice, focuses primarily on political stories about law and the Department of Justice. We're similar to Politico, but for the legal community.
