Description: Government Reporter The Bulletin, a 34,000 daily serving Central Oregon, is seeking a government reporter who understands watchdog journalism and how to cover a community from politics to policy to the people. This person will be a relentless go-getter with extensive research ability and experience working with public document databases and filing FOIAs. Candidates should have a passion for detail, strong reporting and writing skills, and at least two years reporting experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for community news. This person will also have a proven capacity to develop stories, build sources and connect with readers. The Bulletin is an independent, family-owned newspaper in Bend, a vibrant city, population 80,000, surrounded by snow-capped mountains and stellar outdoor recreation.
