Description: The Marietta Daily Journal has an immediate opening for a creative and motivated photojournalist. Our photojournalists work out of Marietta, Ga., for news, features and sports in Cobb County for the seven-day MDJ. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience at a daily newspaper, but recent college graduates with strong internships will be considered. The photographer must produce photo packages for a wide range of planned and breaking assignments and write clear and concise captions in newspaper style. Efficient digital workflow and Photoshop skills are essential. An in-person interview is required for top candidates. Staff photographers must have reliable transportation and use their own professional digital SLR camera, lenses and lighting.
