Openings in Newspapers/Wires

The Orange County Register seeks two or more dynamic copy/layout editors to join its community team. We quickly have expanded our 22 weekly hometown papers, launched a new daily, and soon will launch more. Plans include a new "Long Beach Register." We need people with news judgment, keen attention to detail, a knack for compelling headlines, command of AP style, and the skill and desire to lay out eye-catching pages. We need multi-taskers who can juggle multiple deadlines and thrive as part of a team. We prefer journalists with three years’ experience in a deadline-driven newsroom. If you don’t have that, convince us you deserve a look. If you know CCI Layout Champ, that’s a nice plus.
