Seeking investigative reporters

On Point Investigations, a Boston based investigative agency, is seeking freelance investigative reporters with business and finance backgrounds who are great at interviewing and digging beneath the surface of events. We are looking for several reporters with exceptional interviewing skills who can assist in uncovering corporate fraud. We are seeking reporters who are detail oriented, easily grasp complex issues, persistent and who can cultivate witnesses over the phone. 

You also need to have superior analytical skills, the ability to write with authority and precision and most importantly, the personality that will get people to open up and speak to you in detail. A good understanding of GAAP, publicly traded organizations and business and finance are an added plus. We are looking for reporters who have covered large companies and a business beat and who have a successful track record of conducting investigations of businesses for newspaper, magazines and wire services.
