CCTVNEWS, China’s 24-hour international English-language TV news channel, is recruiting. With 100 experienced reporters and correspondents and three major news centers around the world, CCTVNEWS is an emerging force in global news. Join us in our new state-of-the-art broadcast center in the heart of Beijing – one of the world’s liveliest capital cities. We want to hear from experienced TV professionals who want to grow their careers as we grow the channel. No beginners please.  

 

Anchors for News, Business and Sports Programs

 

 

Qualifications and skills:
• Native English speaker
• University bachelor degree or above
• At least 5 years’ broadcast journalism experience, preferably with internationally-renowned media organizations
• Experience of dedicated anchoring within one of the three specialist fields above
• Knowledgeable about China
• Thorough knowledge of television production techniques, both studio-based and in the field
• Ability to handle live breaking news
• Strong research skills
• Calm under pressure - and a strong team player
• We are particularly interested to hear from those with a good knowledge and understanding of Asia

• A strong understanding of news and international current affairs

  • • Excellent writing skills
  • • Strong attention to detail
  • • Willing to work flexible and irregular hours
