Description: Bleacher Report, a fast-growing online sports network with over 40 million monthly readers, is looking for detail-oriented candidates interested in journalism to join its copy editing internship program. Specific sport specialties the program is aiming to develop and train for include: That said, Bleacher Report features content on virtually all sports and teams, so all candidates interested in sports copy editing are encouraged to apply. If you are particularly interested in working with one sport first and foremost, though, please make that clear during the later stages of the application process. While the program is based out of New York City, B/R interns work remotely under the supervision of a dedicated editing trainer. Schedule plans are completely up to the intern as long as they meet the program's quota and are followed consistently, though schedule changes may be arranged in advance at any time. Course credit is available to all successful applicants, and paid job opportunities exist for those who excel in the program.
