Description

Western Media LLC is seeking a strategic and digital savvy Publisher or Manager who will be responsible for the operational and financial success of our Northglenn, CO, operation which includes a monthly magazine, a bi-monthly magazine, a quarterly association publication, custom publications, and many digital jobs. Various software knowledge and Office 365 experience is essential.

This position will oversee our highly effective properties across a diversified revenue mix, including advertising, circulation, print and digital revenues. We are seeking a proven leader who understands the critical balance between print and digital revenue focus along with continued need to diversify revenue streams across multiple business lines while serving the needs of our audiences and advertisers. The ideal candidate must also have strong operational background including circulation, press and P&L experience.

Candidates must have good working knowledge and a proven track record in the following areas:

  • B2B and B2C experience
  • Leading change and delivering financial performance goals
  • High digital acumen with prior experience leading digital media strategies
  • An established history increasing/diversifying media revenue
  • Increasing circulation to key, target markets/audiences
  • Excellent strategic planning, organizational, analytical and financial management skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Contract negotiations with customers and vendors
  • Meeting deadlines
  • Ability to inspire and lead various teams
  • Ability to mediate concerns and tensions between departments
  • Ability to delegate tasks effectively
