Dartmouth College invites applications and nominations for the role of Donor Relations Officer in support of our Office of Donor Engagement. As a member of the Development team, the Donor Relations Officer will research, develop, and write gift proposals, prospect briefings, and customized communications, as well as proposing and implementing cultivation/engagement strategies for prospective donors in support of the fundraising mission of the Advancement division. The responsibilities of this role complement the external, face-to-face donor responsibilities of fundraisers.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated writing experience and three to four years of relevant experience in fundraising (or a related field such as marketing, communications, or research). Keys to your success will be excellent written and verbal communication skills, creativity, a demonstrated collaborative approach, and possession of strong editing, research, analytical, and organizational skills. Capacity to manage a high-volume workload and changing priorities, initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to function independently with minimal oversight are essential. A Bachelor's degree is required.
