The Food Institute, a northern New Jersey-based company, has an opening for a talented writer/researcher to become an integral part of an active, innovative editorial team that prepares daily and weekly newsletters for the food industry. Ongoing projects include improving and updating this 90-year old news and information service's annual studies.
The qualified candidate must possess excellent writing, analytical, computer and interpersonal skills, as well as a college degree. Experience in QuarkXPress or a similar program is a plus. The benefit package includes life insurance; 401k plan with company match; 2 weeks paid vacation after one year and a 40 hour week, (Monday through Friday, 8:00-4:00), as well as the opportunity for advancement, along with longevity and job security.
