If you love a variety of reporting – and really hate mornings – The Billings Gazette has a job for you.

We are hiring for a night reporter who works from 2 p.m., to midnight (Tuesday through Saturday). This reporter will cover the news of the day, often rushing to breaking news events. But, there is also time to enterprise and go deep with stories.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable with social media, especially posting from the scene of events, and will be quick to turn breaking stories.

The Billings Gazette is the state’s largest paper and the biggest voice in a growing community offering plenty of cultural attractions, fine dining and shopping as well as mountains, fishing, cycling and skiing. It will help if you have other reporting experience.
