The MetroNews Radio Network ( is looking for the next addition to our award winning news department. We're hiring a news anchor-reporter for our Charleston, WV office.

The person in this position begins in the morning or as news coverage warrants as determined by the news managers. The person chosen will be responsible for newscasts, coverage of scheduled and breaking news events, preparations for The Morning News and regular website updates.

We're looking for someone who is self motivated, works well with others and has a positive attitude, while being flexible and willing to adjust to changing news demands. You must be able to work on tight deadlines. This job will require you to travel in and around the Kanawha Valley on a regular basis, and occasionally to other parts of West Virginia. You must have reliable transportation. Weekend hours are also a regular part of this job.

This is a news position, not a sports position.
