Description:

Laredo Morning Times, a daily newspaper in Laredo, Texas, is seeking a full-time Spanish editor. 
The editor oversees the production of Tiempo de Laredo (daily), a weekly lifestyle magazine and LMTenEspañol (online). 
 
Responsibilities include:
-Proofreading and translating stories (from English to Spanish and vice versa) 
-Supervising a translator and reporter/desk editor
-Arranging and coordinating interviews and photo shoots
-Posting Spanish content to LMT’s website
-Some reporting
-Other duties as requested by managing editor

Minimum qualifications include:
-Experience in journalism or communication-related field
-Fluency in Spanish and English
-Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communication, Spanish or related field
-Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently
