The Post-Bulletin is seeking an organized, outgoing individual to fill the role of Reporter. Candidates will have the ability to identify engaging content and initiates ideas for stories, illustrations, and photos. This position gathers and organizes information for news and feature stories and writes complete, accurate and concise articles in an engaging style for both the Post-Bulletin newspaper. A qualified candidate will have the following:

         >2+ yrs experience writing for a daily publication, preferred experience with video publications.

         >Professional leadership skills, capable of working collaboratively in a team environment.

         >Self-starter personality, with well-developed reporting, writing, verbal communications and interpersonal skills.

         >Good command of the English language, grammar, sentence structure, spelling and journalistic style.

         >Great organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and varying scheduled shifts including spending long

           periods of time doing phone work if necessary.

The Reporter position is an hourly 32-36 hours per week, full-benefit position. There will be a 90-day probationary period, after which the employee will be eligible for all Post-Bulletin benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement options, paid leave and more.
