Sinclair Broadcast Group is looking for an experienced retention specialist with expertise in the operations and marketing of auto dealerships to become a Sinclair subject matter expert. The person in this position will become an integral part of our company-wide sales initiative focused on the tier 3 auto business. We are looking for a strategic communicator with a proven record of using data and category knowledge to maintain and grow relationships in this highly competitive vertical. The winning candidate will quickly gain expertise into internal systems, processes, and business review tools. They will proactively monitor existing Sinclair campaigns/partnerships, and communicate with appropriate stakeholders to ensure the longevity of business. They will also work in tandem with our field sales and support teams to fulfill responsibilities within the role. Creating solid partnerships with dealer, and Sinclair station leadership will be be keys to success. If you’re an industry leader, we’re interested in talking to you.

Specific Duties include:

  • Exceed expectations for client retention in assigned geography
  • Maintain consistent presence providing white glove service to field sales team and dealers, and grow revenue by identifying upsell opportunities
  • Act as support layer for technology/process education with key stakeholders
  • Proactively audit and engage local sales teams on proper business review process
  • Work with research team to deliver industry insights and context to sales team
  • Monitor dealer technology usage and execute re-engagement process when necessary
  • Conduct technology enhancement workshops with stations and priority dealer partners
  • Work closely with sales management and corporate staff to ensure coordination and cooperation in support of sales and operations
  • Possible travel for support of Major Accounts
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
