In preparation for Post Auction Spectrum repack and ATSC 3.0 implementation, Acrodyne Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sinclair, has exciting opportunities for experienced, qualified individuals to provide on-site mechanical services, including installation, equipment removal and site upgrade to high power broadcast transmitter facilities throughout the USA. . You will be working with Sinclair Broadcast Group stations as well as other broadcast owner transmitter sites on ATSC 1.0 and ATSC 3.0 equipment. This position is a challenging yet rewarding mix that requires an individual with a strong desire to learn coupled with initiative, technical know-how and customer service skills.

This position can be located anywhere, with preference to the Baltimore or Philadelphia areas. Travel can be up to 80% unless located at either of these locations.


  • Perform mechanical installation of broadcast transmitters and ancillary equipment – such as RF systems and cooling systems - at customer sites
  • Provide technical advice/training in operation and maintenance of transmitter equipment to customer’s engineers
  • Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on transmitters and RF equipment at customer site
  • Plan and coordinate activities to resolve technical and logistical issues and provide documentation of site activities. Ensure factory and customer’s representative are kept fully informed of plans and site progress


  • Associates degree, or equivalent experience, in technical field
  • 5 years practical hands-on applicable experience with medium and high power TV broadcast transmitters
  • Strong mechanical skills with experience resolving complex site equipment issues
  • Capable of reading mechanical blueprints and schematics
  • Basic computing skills desirable
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
